Proposal

Charity Bouquets collaboration

Charity Bouquets is a beautiful self-service flower stand. All proceeds go to local charities.

My name is Haesol, a Troy-based flower enthusiast who has begun the “Charity Bouquet” initiative to give myself more opportunities to work with flowers while contributing to the local community. This page is a proposal to local businesses for an impactful collaboration for a good cause that will bring smile to those visiting.

How It Works

  • 1. Haesol brings in the bouquets

Bouquets will be packaged with individual “water bag” that won’t require any maintenance or make a mess. The bouquet box can sit on the countertop to greet customers with beautiful flowers.

  • 2. Customer freely Venmo's their donation

The bouquet box will come with a clear instruction attached for buyers to follow and Venmo their donation. The transaction won’t require your employee’s assistance, although people might ask a question sometimes!

  • 3. Extra flowers adorn the shop

There are almost always extra stems of flowers that didn’t make it to the bouquets but are as beautiful. I would be so happy to put them in different corners of the shop in bud vases or small arrangements.

A few more details…

What local charities are you donating to?

This is the most impactful part of the collaboration. I would love to work with you to select a charity together that you want to support as a business. I’m hoping this project will be collaborative and meaningful for both of the teams!

How often will you bring the flowers?

I will commit to a regular schedule, once every 1 or 2 weeks, of course depending on your preference.

Are you going to be in the shop with the flowers?

Having a full-time job, I designed Charity Bouquets to be self-serviced, so that people can buy them without myself being present. That said, I love making new friends through flowers, so I’d love to sit in the shop for a bit sipping a cup of latte whenever possible!

What happens when flowers sell out? Or the opposite?

I will pick up the empty box once the flowers sell out. If there are bouquets that didn’t sell for more than 2 days, I will donate the flowers to the shop if wanted!

Let’s chat more!

Thank you so much for reading this proposal. If you’d like to discuss further, I can probably show up in less than 15 minutes. I live right here in Downtown Troy 😉. I look forward to hearing your thoughts, questions or suggestions!
